About the event
This Radiation Safety Certification course prepares dental assistants to safely and effectively expose dental radiographs while minimizing radiation risks to patients and staff. The program includes didactic instruction on radiation physics, biology, safety regulations, equipment operation, and proper radiographic techniques.
Students will also complete clinical in-person training to complete a total of 32 hours, where they gain hands-on experience in positioning, exposure techniques, and compliance with safety protocols under professional supervision.
Certification Details:
Upon successful completion of the course requirements, participants will be awarded a Radiation Safety Certification, verifying their qualification to perform dental radiographic procedures in accordance with state regulations and industry standards.
